Malawi U-17 plays Namibia today in Cosafa semis

The Junior Flames will play Namibia instead of South Africa following the disqualification of Zambia for age cheating at the Cosafa U-17 tourney in Mauritius.

Initially, the Malawi national U-17 team wa supposed to play against South Africa.

But Bafanabafana will play Kenya. who lodged the complaint against Zambia.

Both games will be played at the St Francis Xavier Stadium on Friday 29 July.

Malawi plays Namibia from 1 PM local time while the South Africa- Kenya clash starts at 4 P.M.

Kenya, on Sunday after heavily losing their group “B” opener against the Southern Africans 4-1 on Friday 22, lodged a formal complaint against the opponent for fielding overage players.

Kenya beat Madagascar 2-1 before losing 5-0 in their last group match against Malawi to finish third.
