Devotion: Live as a believer

Titus 1 : 16 ” They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.”

Match your christian confession with your Christian life. Be the doer of the Word and not just someone who confesses to be a believer. Let your Christian life be demonstrated in whatever you do.James 1 : 22 ” But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”

Demonstrate that you are a child of God whether you are surrounded by fellow believers or not.1 Peter 2 : 12 ” Keep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day of visitation.”

As  we are  light to the world, we demonstrate ourselves as such through what we so. We  make others glorify the Father through our deeds that match our Christian confession.

Therefore show yourself openly to the World that you belong to Christ. Matthew 5 : 14-16 ”  You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.”

You can win someone through your conduct that matches your Christian confession.1 Peter 3 : 1 ” Likewise, wives, be subject to your own husbands, so that even if some do not obey the word, they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wives.”

Prayer: Thank you Father because of the Word. I will always conduct myself according to my Christian confession. I will always shine to the World and win others to Christ. In Jesus Name. Amen
