“1 John 2 : 15-17 ” Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world–the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions–is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.”
This world is not forever. We have a home and soon we will be there. Christ is coming. Even if He takes a bit more time, you may leave this earth. Therefore prepare yourself to meet the saviour. No sinner will make it to heaven.
First of all, you must be born again to meet the Father. No born again can see the Kingdom of God(John 3:3). Not only that, you need to live the life according to the Word. Have affection for the things above and not only for the things below.
Col 3:1-3 “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.”
Don’t be too occupied with the earthly things that you forget the day you are going home. You will either be with the Father or the other side. Dont exchange your soul with anything in this world. Matthew 16 : 26 ” For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his so.” Whether fame or education or money or anything else cant be worthy the soul of man. Therefore let nothing stop you from meeting the Father.
Don’t meet the Father alone. Take along some people. Therefore wherever you are and whatever you do, find time to witness to others about Christ. Win more souls for the Master.
