A homeowner in Blantyre city was about to retire for the night at around midnight on Thursday when she found a naked woman in the house.
The naked woman who has been identified as 32 year-old Loveness Limited told the homeowner, Edith Joseph, 19, that she was coming from prayers.
Confirming the development to Malawi24, Blantyre police public relations officer, Elizabeth Divala, said the incident happened at midnight on Thursday, 14 July 2016 at Kameza in the commercial city.
Divala said on this night, Joseph locked her house and thereafter went to her bedroom together with her children but her husband was not at home.
Joseph was then shocked to see the suspect at midnight in her house and she was threatened by the fact that the woman was naked.
Upon asking the intruder how and for what reason she got into the house, the naked suspect only said she was coming from prayers in Ndirande and she was going to her home.
The owner of the house later reported the matter to South Lunzu police unit who did not hesitate but arrested the lady.

Witchcraft is the power of magic and this power has been there for years around the world. The problem is the misuse of this power by the individual who has it and not the power of magic itself.
