The capital city Lilongwe awaits another exhilarating experience as the music and food festival will be rocking the city from 26th to 28th August.
The event will be happening at Bingu International Conference Centre (BICC) under the banner ovation music festival for the first time in Malawi courtesy of Ovation Advertising Agency.
According to the organisers, only music and food will be celebrated during the three day happening.
In an exclusive interview with Malawi24, fusion festival event manager Felistas Ngwira said they are after uniting people through music and food as such a number of exciting activities in that realm will grace the occasion.
“We just want to bring people together while indulging in music and great food. It’s also a platform for players in food industry to showcase their products and also learn from others,” said Ngwira.
She also revealed to this publication that international chefs will be present at the event.
However, she was not explicit enough to tell us respective countries for the chefs that will showcase their magic in the kitchen.
But she said the organisers are currently in talks with musicians to perform during the occasion.
With reference to information provided to this publication, they will uncover the list of artists next week.
Fusion festival will not have age exemptions, it will accommodate both kids and adults.
A kids’ zone will be made available hence strengthening the event’s diverse nature.
This promises to be the biggest food and music extravaganza with sizzling entertainment that will make people disappear in music and food.
