Born again musician Dencan Zgambo populary known as Gwamba on Thusday afternoon decided to set the record straight by laughing in the face of the people who do not like him and spread lies against him.
In a televised interview Gwamba who switched from Secular to Gospel music in what he has said was due to the knowledge of the influence that he has, said that it is not his problem that he has a rich brother in-law who is also rich.
Responding to a question from host Anne Matumbi on claims that South African based self-acclaimed Prophet Shepherd Bushiri had bought him a house and a car to influence his decision to start singing gospel songs, Gwamba said that he was related to Bushiri.
“Bushiri is my brother-in-law,” said Gwamba, a brother to Bushiri’s wife, Mary, who also doubles as a Prophetess.
“So, without even turning to gospel music Bushiri would do all those things to me because we are related. It is not my fault that Bushiri is rich and he is my brother-in-law,” said the Better star.
On rumours that he is a Satanist who had a hand in Grace Chinga’s death
Responding when asked if he was connected to the death of musician Grace Chinga following a viral Facebook and WhatsApp anonymous text, Gwamba laughed and asked the interviewer if he knows the person who authored the text.
“I do not know,” said Matumbi.
“Then why do you believe something that was authored by a person whom you do not know?” Gwamba wondered.
Matumbi however was not put off and pressed on Gwamba to say in a few words if he was involved in the death of the musician or he was a Satanist to which Gwamba denied to answer.
“I will not answer that question, I cannot come here to be dispelling rumours with no basis. The truth is known between me and my God,” he said.
He further queried if anyone had heard the song that was being referred to.
After the death of musician Grace Chinga, messages were spread on the social media linking the musician and his brother-in-law Shepherd Bushiri to the shocking death of the gospel singer.
