Malawi’s renowned fast food outlet Steers will open its doors in Zomba City on Tuesday, the company says.
Owned by Sellies Enterprise, the food outlet has been operating in all the three cities of Malawi apart from the old capital city.
Managing Director for Sellies Enterprise Peter Chikhungwa told Malawi24 that the Zomba branch will be offering international standard services to Malawians.
“Yes, we are opening steers in Zomba and it will start operating on 28th June next week.”
“Zomba as a City needs to have an international restaurant like Steers to offer quality services to Malawians living in this city,” said Chikhungwa.
He then promised Malawians to expect more from the company.
“People should expect more since its an international brand and the people of Zomba will have a taste of an international thing. We offer quick services that cannot be offered by any restaurant in Malawi. Our Chefs went to South Africa for a special training in order to offer quality services to Malawians,” he continued.
He further advised Malawians to start investing in their own land saying they are capable of bringing international brands into their country without waiting for the foreign investors.
“We want to encourage our fellow Malawians that it is possible to bring an international brand to Malawi. We shouldn’t wait for foreign investors. Anything is possible.”
“I am urging Malawians to support us by eating at our restaurants accross the country. The services are good and we are very sure that they will love everything that is being offered to them from Steers,” he concluded.
