The Malawi National Examination Board (Maneb) says all is set for the start of the Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) examinations today.
Maneb spokesperson Simeon Maganga said all preparations have been completed and 164,646 candidates are expected sit for the examinations.
He however disclosed that the board registered many cases of cheating during PSLCE and Junior Certificate of Education exams but he was hopeful that during the MSCE exams there will be a reduction in cases.

According to Maganga, Maneb organised a campaign to curb the malpractice and people responded to the campaign positively hence the board has hope that there will be few cases of cheating.
He then warned students and teachers that the Maneb will not tolerate anyone who will be found cheating during the examinations.

If all is set why invigilators have been given there allowances. The Parliament is standing still today because the government is failing to fulfill it’s duty to pay loans. But teachers have gone to the field to do this risky work of supervising msce exams. Time has come for the Nation to pay more attention to essential things than non essential activities. Imagine invigilators getting 50000 for doing the risky work of supervising msce but when things go bad he can be jailed for several years with ransom of about half a million kwacha. Teachers jack up now, look at politicians they are fighting for their own battle. There is no one with a heart for you
