Nompumelelo Ntuli-Zuma confirmed to News24 through her attorney that she is no longer living at Nkandla while  the  Sunday Sun report stated that MaNtuli, who married Zuma in 2008, is now homeless following Zuma’s order.

It is claimed that an attempt was made on Zuma’s life through poisoning during a trip to the US in 2014. Following doctors’ confirmation that the president had indeed been poisoned, MaNtuli was reportedly put on the lists of suspects and was questioned by the police to establish her role in the plot.

A report by News24 further claims  that MaNtuli was previously in an extramarital affair with another man identified as Phinda Thomo who she later placed on a hit list.

“Tanzanian businessman Steven Masunga, who claimed to know MaNtuli, told the media in 2014 that he had been paid by MaNtuli to kill Thomo, who died mysteriously in 2009” reads part of an article by News24.

Different newspapers in South Africa report that MaNtuli is unhappy because she feels  sidelined.
