As he is continuing with rural evangelism through his music, Lilongwe based gospel musician Ronald Thamakera has organised a Gospel show at Lumbadzi Assemblies Of God in  Lilongwe on 26 June.

In an interview, Thamakera said people in Lumbadzi and surrounding areas should expect fireworks saying rehearsals are underway.

“This is not an ordinary show, it has a purpose, we want to win lost souls and people in Lumbadzi should expect great things from me,” he said.

He also urged all his fans to go to the show in large numbers saying they will not regret as he is ready to give out the best performance ever.

Asked why he is targeting rural areas, Thamakera was quick to say most musicians in the country stick to same venues when it comes to live gospel shows and he has come to fill the gap and to spread the gospel.

Thamakera will be accompanied by fellow musicians including Lloyd Phiri, Henry Masamba, Andy Seko, Precious Faziri, Thoko Katimba, -Favoured Martha, Maxwell Olloto, Martha Mituka, Ruth Missi Thindwa, Norman Phiri, Lyton Nandolo, Clinton Esau, and Pastor Moses Makawa.

Slated to start at 12 noon, the show will attract an entry fee of K1000 per head.

After Lumbadzi, the musician will also hold a show in Mulanje district on 30 July while on 31 July he will be in Phalombe before holding other shows in Dedza, Balaka, and Zomba.
