Come second half, both sides came in with new ideas but it was Tigers which started dominating possession as they quickly settled into the game.

Eight minutes after recess, the Kau Kau boys were awarded a penalty after Joseph Maneno appeared to have handled the ball inside the penalty area.

Bonda Mpinganjira stepped up for the challenge and made no mistake when he put the ball into the back of the net and it was 1-nil to Azam Tigers.

After that goal Karonga United players played some exellent football as they were in search for an equalising goal of the match but only to be frustrated by the Azam Tigers goalminder.
