Atsogo Scrafoc denies quitting: Back with ‘Do Something’

After his Take Me Higher (10 Kwa 10) music video made headlines in the country, South Africa based Malawian gospel rapper Atsogo Scrafoc real name Gift Chilonga has dropped a 10 song debut album titled ‘Do Something’.

The production of the album has been mastered by renowned Malawian producers Ralph Ching’amba of Ralph Records and DJ Megi of Jammc Records, both running their studios in the rainbow nation.

According to Atsogo, the journey he took some years back has paid off as he has now realised his dream of dropping an album which has taken him three years.

“I started rap when I was in high school and as time went by I developed a big interest, in the way I dreamt of releasing an album full of gospel songs,” said Scrafoc, whose name is an abbreviation for Saint Chosen Rapper For Christ.

An insight into the newly released ‘Do Something’ album will buy one a space to near Heaven and shine with dancing moves in the process settling down holy message the album carries.

“I considered a broad audience in my album, there is all sort of genres like Afro- Pop, Hip- hop, Reggae and it has songs like Do Something, Turning Around, Taking Me Higher, Hallelujah which features Ellen, Alinafe, Nkhondo, No Stress, Closer To You, Prophetic Dance and You Are Holy,” he highlighted.

Songs from Atsogo’s ‘Do Something’ album have already started enjoying airplay on almost all local radio stations and the album is ready for downloads on Music from Malawi website and other music sites.
