Nazombe takes ‘Bwalo la ma bwalo’ poetry feast to Lilongwe

After organizing successful poetry shows in the commercial city of Blantyre, Poet Mollen Nazombe has organized a show dubbed ‘Bwalo la ma Bwalo’ to be held at M1 Center Point in Lilongwe on 19 June, 2016.

Speaking in an interview, Nazombe also known as Anduna, said people in Lilongwe should expect an electrifying show as several poets have already confirmed their presence.

“This is one of the best shows ever, Lilongwe should expect fireworks, all the poets have confirmed and I’m encouraging all poetry fans to come in large numbers as they will not regret,” he said.

Nazombe also said he is getting back on stage after being silent for some time and that he has come to organize high standard shows.

“I have been silent, I was busy doing some other things but now I’m back with full force, I’m here to entertain people and they should expect great things from me,” he added.

Some of the poets to perform during the show are Robert Chiwamba, Hudson Chamasowa, Joseph Madzedze, Raphael Sitima, Samuel Joseph, Sylvester Kalizang’oma, Kenneth Khondiwa and Mada Nyambo.

Among other performances, GYV, Atcheya, Taliban and Annie Matumbi are also on the menu during the show.

Scheduled to start at 1 pm, the show will attract an entry fee of K1000 per head.
