Blue Eagles led midway through the first half after Gilbert Chirwa capitalised on a Civo Service United defensive error.

After that goal Civo United tried all they could to score an equalising but the Area 30 cops defended their goal well as they did not allow the civo Servants to find the back of the net.

Come second half both teams came in with fresh ideas as they were all in search for goals but it was the Area 30 cops who scored their second goal of the match through Victor Nyirenda and the game ended in a 2 nil win. After the match Blue Eagles coach Deklerk Msakakuona said he was happy with the win whereas Milius Pofera Jegwe described the defeat as painful and congratulated Msakakuona’s boys for the win.
