The artists in Malawi must brace for a fight. South African artists have hit gold in this country and are in love with it.
A South African comedian has announced that he will be coming to Malawi for a performance as he will be touring Africa.
His announcement comes days after the South African group, Mi Casa, was also in the country.
Riaad Moosa who is of Indian origin, made the announcement on June 2 through social media.
With reference to the information provided, his tour will take him to nine African countries in three of the continent’s regions which are: East, West, and South.
“Africa get ready for Riaad Moosa Live – Zimbabwe, Malawi, Swaziland, Mozambique, Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania & Botswana I will be there soon,” reads the main part of his post.
However, the informative text leaves Malawians in the dark as to how long they should wait since no specific date has been provided for the performance.
The 38 year-old is among South Africa’s cream when it comes to cracking jokes.
He embraced the art during his college days when he was studying medicine at University of Capetown.
His announcement comes after another African comic heavyweight, Ugandan Annie Kansiime, confirmed her Malawi trip that will see her perform in the capital Lilongwe on 2nd July.
