Flames and Jomo Cosmos winger Micium Mhone has been sent home by Coach Enerst Mtawali due to indiscipline and has since been replaced by Mighty Wanderers winger Isaac Kaliyati,Malawi24 can confirm.
Mhone refused a handshake with Muhamad Sulumba when he was substituted by his coach during Malawi’s 3-nil defeat to Zimbabwe in the Group L 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifier on Sunday afternoon.

Soon after the game, Mhone wasted no time by taking to his Facebook wall where he vented his anger on Mtawali’s led Technical Panel.
This did not go well with Mtawali who immediately dropped the former Blue Eagles winger in his squad for the Cosafa tourney slated for this weekend.
Mhone jetted into the country from Harare some few hours ago via Chileka International Airport.
Meanwhile, Kaliyati is expected to join his team-mates in South Africa before enrooting to Windhoek where they will play Angola in the competition’s opener on Saturday.
After the game, Mtawali made a public apology to Malawians for the defeat saying he will now target the Cosafa Castle Senior Challenge Cup to console the nation.
