A Malawian woman on Tuesday gave birth to twin boys in a bus which had broken down in Benoni in South Africa.
The twins were welcomed by paramedics and passengers on board the bus.
Paramedics who delivered the boys nicknamed them “Tom” and “Jones” after Tom Jones Street in Benoni, where the bus got stuck.
Onlookers were the ones who miraculously aided and made the 32-year-old woman comfortable through the impromptu birthing process.
Images from the scene show a group of women who were also travelling on the bus shielding the woman from public view while she was in labour.
The improvised birth on a chilly autumn has raised questions and was the talk of the day on social media and radio stations in South Africa..
Meanwhile the twins and their mother are doing fine at a certain hospital in Benoni.
