Two men from Karonga district have started bleating like goats in the district’s prison, Malawi24 can report.
According to information sourced by this publication, the two were sentenced to 9 months Imprisonment with Hard Labour (IHL) for stealing goats in the district.
But they lost their voices and started bleating like they are in prison.
The two were later taken to Karonga district hospital for medical treatment for the strange development.
Meanwhile relations to the two have since pleaded to Malawi Prison Services to grant permission to the prisoners so that they can have access to native doctors who can help them.
The development comes at a time when some Malawians have cast doubt on the existence of witchcraft in the country.
