The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Malawi chapter has announced it will conduct three workshops across the country’s major cities to help marketers understand numbers.

Limbani Nsapato says the workshops are helpful to the profession.

CIM Malawi Board Member Limbani Nsapato said  the modules to be delivered at the workshops aims at equipping marketers with the necessary tools to competently read, interpret and action the critical business numbers with a view to empower them in boardrooms.

“A professional marketer cannot run away from numbers. This training module aims at demystifying the business financials for marketers in order to realign them as core players to the business. As marketers rise up the ladder, figures become a very critical component of their daily work,” said Nsapato.

He added that the marketers will get skills and tactics for pushing new ideas, products, services or projects to prospective clients and will also be equipped with skills to effectively manage and utilize marketing agencies.

Seasoned marketers Enwell Kadango and Fredrick Changaya as well as an inspirational speaker & accountant Daniel Dunga will facilitate the training workshops which are targeting marketers, commercial drivers, sales managers, business development, communications and brand managers.

The Blantyre workshop is scheduled for 9 and 10 June while Lilongwe will play host on 13 and 14 June before the third and final training on 16 and 17 June in Mzuzu.
