Act 11:13-14 “He told us how he had seen the angel standing in his house, and saying to him, ‘Send to Joppa, and get Simon, who is called Peter, who will speak to you words by which you will be saved, you and all your house.”

Cornelius was a good man, always praying and fasting and giving alms.Act 10:1-2 WEB “Now there was a certain man in Caesarea, Cornelius by name, a centurion of what was called the Italian Regiment, a devout man, and one who feared God with all his house, who gave gifts for the needy generously to the people, and always prayed to God.”

Our opening scripture tells us that Peter was instructed to speak words that would make Cornelius be saved, him and the whole family.

God’s word.

Acts 11:14 “who will speak to you words by which you will be saved, you and all your house.” This shows that despite all the good things and all the prayers and all the fastings, Cornelius was not yet saved. He was not yet born again.

When you are preaching and winning souls for the Lord, Dont be deceived by collegues who may appear devoted to some religious activities. Some may be active in church functions. Others may even be preachers but not yet saved.

They may be inneed of salvation. Its better to enquire from them whether they are saved or not rather than assuming they are saved. They may be like Cornelius, full of good works but not saved. Such believers would not make it to heaven. Jesus says in John 3:3 unless a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom.

Nobody will be saved by good works.Good words minus salvation is nothing. We get saved by accepting Jesus, confessing Him and believing Him in our hearts.Rom 10:9 WEB “that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Go back today and enquire about that brothr or sister whether they are just religious or are really saved.Stop assuming and act!

If you are not saved say this prayer:
Dear Father thank you for your Word. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in my heart that God raised him from the dead. I receive salvation and eternal life in my Spirit. My old is gone. I am now born again and am saved.Thank you Father for saving me. In Jesus Name. Amen. Contacts +265888326247

  1. Powerful and very true.Lord Jesus help us to be with Holy Spirit day by day.Amen

  2. Thank you pastor Dan God bless you more and more in the name of jesus christ our Lord. Just wanted to add
    Verses like
Romans 3:9-10 says all people whether jews or Gentile’s under the power of sin ,No one is righteous not even one.

    Romans 3:23
for everyone has sinned,we all for short of God’s glorious standard.(Receiving Christ as lord and saviour is the only standard to be a child of God who is Holy And Awesome.)

Romans3:23 for the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ jesus our Lord( everyone should know this).

    Luke16:19-31.
Verse22 says “finally ,the poor man died and was carried by angels to Paradise (Abraham’s bosom, heaven). The rich man also died and was buried, and his soul went to the place of the dead.(Hades or hell)a place of torment and fire.
Everyone should know the destination of his/her life whether he/she lives a life of sin or not.

    THE PLAN OF SALVATION

God Loves us all He sent Jesus Christ to save us from the penalty of sin which is judgement by eternal fire resulting into eternal death.
    JOHN 3:16,
For God loved the world so much that He gave his only begotten son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal.
Romans5:8 but God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.
Romans 3:25 For God presented jesus as a sacrifice for sin .People are made right with God
When they believe that jesus sacrificed his life,by
    Shedding his blood.

Isaiah 53:1-12..who has believed our report ,To whom has the LORD revealed his powerful arm?
There was nothing beautiful or majestic about his(Christ) appearance (when he came into the world),
He was despised and rejected–a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief..
We turned our backs on him and looked the other way.
He was despised and we did not Care.
    Yet it was our weaknesses he carried;
It was our sorrows that weighed him down.
And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God,a punishment for his own sins!
But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins.
He was beaten so we could be whole.
He was whipped so we could be healed.
All of us,like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own.yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all.

Romans 3:25..this sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past, for he was looking ahead and including them in what he would do in this present time.
    God did this to demonstrate his righteousness;
For He himself is just and fair, AND HE DECLARES SINNERS TO BE RIGHT WHEN THEY BELIEVE IN JESUS.

SO WHAT SHALL WE DO TO BE SAVED?

    ACTS2:38
Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God,and be baptized in the name of jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you Will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. This promise is to you,and to your children, and even the gentiles.
Acts4:12 there’s salvation in no one else!God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved .

    HOW CAN WE RECEIVE SALVATION,–
By placing our faith in Christ that He can save us.
    ROMANS 10:9-10
If you CONFESS with your MOUTH that JESUS is LORD and BELIEVE in your HEÀRT that GOD raised HIM from the dead you shall be saved.
For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God and is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.. Every who calls upon the name of the lord will be saved. Amen.
