Controversy surrounding Jaffali Chande’s move to Mighty Wanderers is refusing to die as Big Bullets have released the player’s unexpired contract.

The contract which this publication has seen was signed by Chande and former Bullets General Secretary Harold Fote.

It is indicating that Jaffali Chande signed a 3 year contract with Bullets which was expected to run from 2014 to August 2017.

“This agreement is made on the 14th of August 2014 between Big Bullets football club (herein after referred as club) and Jaffali Chande (herein after referred as player) have agreed to conclude a professional football player contract,” reads part of the contract released by Bullets.

The document further show that the contract was expected to run from the 14 of August 2014 to 13th of August 2017 and once the contract is remaining with 6 months Chande is free to negotiate with the team to extend his contract. If they fail to reach an agreement he can join any other team when his contract expires.

Nyasa Big Bullets technical director Billy Tewesa has said that Bullets will not allow Chande to play for Wanderers until his contract expires at Bullets because the player did not follow proper procedures when he was leaving the club last month.

This means that Chande will not play for his new club Mighty wanderers until next season if Bullets and Wanderers fail to reach an agreement.

Chande joined Wanderers last month as a free agent and he was reportedly given close to K2.5 million as signing on fee at Wanderers after Bullets failed to meet his demand of K3 million as signing on fee.
