Flames midfielder Micium Mhone says he has now settled at South African Premier Soccer League side Jomo Cosmos.

The former Blue Eagles attacking midfielder joined the newly promoted PSL outfit last year and he has since won the faith of his coach and of owner Jomo Sono as he has made over 10 appearances this season.

Mhone’s rise to prominence in ABSA has been the most impressive aspects of Jomo Cosmos’ turnaround as the Malawi international put in a vintage display in the club’s 1-0 victory over Kaizer Chiefs.

And the 24 year-old now feels he is adapting to life in the ABSA Premiership.

“I think I have started my career well here in South Africa,” he said. “Now I am playing regularly, and that is helping me to settle down in this team.”

He however refused to question his coach’s decision to bench him in other big matches even when he is fit.

“The decision to exclude or include the player in the squad will always go down to the coach, he can choose to play me or not, but I hope everything will work according to my plan,” he said.

Jomo Cosmos are on 13th postion in the league with 20 points and are three points away from safety.

On Tuesday, he netted Malawi’s sole goal in the teams 1-all draw against Sierra Leone in a strength testing match ahead of the game against Guinea on Friday in the Acon 2017 qualification race.
