Nomads issue stern warning to super league teams

Mighty Wanderers on Sunday fired warning shots ahead of the kick off of the 2016 TNM Super League season as they beat Msanama 2-1 in a friendly match at Msanama ground in Mtaja.

Goals from Luke Milanzi and Mike Kaziputa in each half were enough to end Msanama’s dreams of holding the Nomads this afternoon.

The match started on an impressive note as both teams were showing some excellency that entertained thousand of football lovers who gathered at Msanama ground to watch Wanderers fc and Msanama.

But it was the Nomads who scored first through their striker Luke Milanzi to put the Nomads 1 nil up and shortly after that goal Msanama leveled the scoreline before the end of the first half.

Come second half the LaliLubani Road side played with renewed purpose and hit another through Mike Kaziputa to make it wanderers 2-1 Msanama until the last whistle of the game.

The Nomads slowly making some strides and their last two training matches against Red Lions and Mafco fc which all ended in favor of the Nomads, is a clear indication that they will be a much improved side in next season’s TNM super league footballing season.

Last season Wanderers finished on position 4 with 45 points from 28 super league matches.
