Dedza Young Soccer: Against play offs.

It is an open secret that the Super League of Malawi (Sulom) is being left restless with an inunction that Dedza Young Soccer Football Club sought restraining the effectiveness of super league progress, as the court in Lilongwe has denied to vacate the injunction as applied by the football body.

 

Dedza has been protesting against the decision by the Super League of Malawi (Sulom) that the three relegated teams in the 2015 Super League season will be involved in play offs in order to have 16 teams in the 2016 league season.

But according to the teams’s advisor, Williams Nkhoma, the injunction is only meant to call for a hearing between the team, Sulom and the mother-body the Football Association of Malawi (FAM) over the teams’ concerns.The injunction stopped Sulom from holding the matches but Wizards played Airborne on Friday.

Nkhoma says it is worrisome that the football fraternity is blaming the Dedza side for seeking the injunction which he says its aim has been misunderstood.

He maintains that they went to court not to disturb the football world bu rather to make sure their concerns are addressed properly by authorities.

” The court denied to vacate the injunction we sought because they asked them (Sulom) whether they have resolved with us together with FAM” Nkhoma was quoted as saying by the press.

  73. I think play offs is the only way to know the team which can puts its name to superleague. Among those three I dont see a team which have a name there because they were all relagated. If its like that then just refund Wizards Fc with what they spent on their match with Airborne and stay with 15 teams in Superleague. You will add the other team next year. #mysuggestion
