Three European countries have promised to help Malawi financially and to carry out development projects in the country.
Ambassadors from France, Belgium and Israel made the promises after presenting their letters of credence to President Peter Mutharika.
French ambassador, Laurent Delehousse who was so grateful to meet the president said he will tell some French companies to come in the country and do their businesses in the tourism sector.
Delehousse added that his government has given Malawi US$12 million to be used in geographical mapping to explore mineral resources in the country.
“The money is ready it’s just up to your government to name the contractor who will be hired to find the areas where minerals can be found,” said.
New Belgium ambassador Paul Cartier also met the Malawi leader and said his government will bring investors in the country. He promised that Belgium will start human rights programmes to help people living with albinism.
In his remarks after meeting Mutharika and presenting his letter, Israel Ambassador Yahel Vilan said the Israel government is ready to help Malawi in Agriculture and Information Communication Technology (ICT).
“We already started the irrigation project last year at Natural Resources College (NRC); I will go to see how things are shaping up and am also trying to bring Israel companies into Malawi for the benefit of the two countries,” said Vilan.
Ambassador Rakiatou Mayaki of Niger also met the Malawi leader.

I drafted an idea which is a structure from my running project. In this project i am looking for a $5000 from the institutes mentioned above.
It is in form of a competition where they have invited many people around the world to write and post projects on their blog. Depending on how many likes, comments, visits and ideas commented on the project posted, I will be selected to be one of the lucky ones to get funded with $5000.
