Hours after unveiling Muhamad Sulumba as their first major signing of the on-going summer transfer market, Big Bullets officials are now in Lilongwe for talks with Civo Service United over the signatures of John Lanjesi and Emmanuel Zoya.
According to information sourced by Malawi24, Bullets chairman Sam Chilunga and vice general secretary Kelvin Moyo are set to meet their counterparts this weekend with the view of completing the deals before Tuesday next week.
On Thursday, Chilunga told reporters during Sulumba’s unveiling ceremony that three more new signings are set to join the Super League champions.
“This will not be our last signing. Three more new faces are set to join us probably next week. We are still negotiating with our counterparts and everything is going on very well,” said Chilunga.
Zoya and Lanjesi appeared to Bullets executive a week ago during the team’s official sponsorship launch at the Atmosphere Bar in Blantyre.
The decision to unveil the duo sparkled debate as Civo totally refused being part of the plan and in turn, they received an apology from the peoples team executive committee.
Nevertheless, the deals are set to be concluded before next Tuesday.
