Malawi Police in Limbe, Blantyre City say they are still conducting investigations on the incident that occurred in Machinjiri Township where a man identified as Pirilani Wailesi was found dead with some body parts removed in a bush in the area.
Publicist for Limbe Police Pedzesai Zembeneko said the 25 year-old’s body was taken to Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QUECH) for a postmortem.
Zembeneko said the police are also investigating to find the cause of the deceased’s death.
According to Zembeneko, for now they will not provide further information to the media on the incident.
Wailesi hailed from Mtema village in Chiradzulu district and was found in the bush with his teeth and private parts removed.
