‘God is punishing Malawi over feared homosexuality legalization’

The CCAP synod of Livingstonia has said some of the problems the country is facing are a result of God’s punishment for not obeying His laws with the one about a feared legalization of homosexuality standing out.

The synod’s general secretary, Reverend Levi Nyondo, made the remarks and said government must make its stand known on the issue of gays in the country.

Nyondo said government must know that its responsibility is to protect people in the country and to do God’s will because Malawi is a God fearing nation. He added that government should not consider the money we get from the countries which are pushing for legalization of same-sex marriages.

However, government’s spokesperson, Jappie Mhango says government will do nothing on the matter. He said Malawians are the ones who will choose what to do.

Mhango said different government departments are pondering on what are the best ways of taking people’s view on the issue.

This comes days after some Catholic Bishops who met President Peter Mutharika said they oppose homosexuality and are against its legalization.

I was born in Zambia but am a Malawian by citizen although am based in Dares Salaam Tanzania, I have never heard about something created in Malawi. we talk of spiritial life people from Malawi are worshiping international or foriegn false prophets like Pastor Chris, TB Joshua, Ashimolowo, Oyadepo, inorder to recieve what they call miracle money, miracle houses, cars etc, they left their only two original Malawian Denomination such as presibertary and catholism. Now the same malawi is adopting to gay relationship not gay marriage, because if we talk of marriage means husband and wife staying together and opting for children, whereby gay relationship i totally disagree that is not marriage is just more like socializing because you cant expect a child from that, this is why say a sin to God.
