Kamwendo: Wants to return.

Malawi National Football team forgotten midfielder, Joseph Kamwendo, has improved his performances in Democratic Republic of Congo as he is eyeing a return to the Flames.

The former Orlando Pirates player is enjoying game time at Don Bosco FC where is on loan from TP Mazembe as he has scored four goals from seven matches.

Speaking on his recent form, Kamwendo says he is feeling as if he just launched his football career yesterday.

“I want to make use of this time to gain my lost glory and I imagine I am feeling as if I’ve started playing the game of soccer yesterday,” said Kamwendo.

The former Mighty Wanderers attacker helped his team to go third in the country’s league after a two all draw against Lupopo FC. Flames Coach, Ernest Mtawali, dropped Kamwendo from the national team claiming that he was not having game time at African club champions, TP Mazembe.
