Malawi urban artist Evans Piksy Zangazanga will in a fortnight time mesmerize Johannesburg stage as he will be launching his Mthunzi album in South Africa after a successful project launch at home.

The artist who is one of the most followed locally, intends to give a Christmass gift to his Malawi audience based in the rainbow nation.

He feels the need to fill the gap created when they missed the home launch that took place in the country’s major cities of Blantyre and Lilongwe.

In informing the public, Piksy took to Facebook yesterday where he uploaded a poster in the company of a caption that partially reads, “Johanessburg see you soon. Get to sample out the tracks from the new album.”

As indicated by the poster, the show will take place on 16th December, eight days before celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. Among acts to support the brains behind Unamata smash hit, is Don Zaggah, Blantyre based dancehall artist.

The show will start at 2 pm until down and only those over 18 years are required to be in attendance.

The former Airtel brand ambassador has of late been a very busy man getting involved in both local and international shows. This will not be his first time to perform in South Africa as he was performing in Cape Town with his band last month.

The forthcoming international launch is expected to attract a large audience considering the fact that there are more Malawians in the city who listen to music from the motherland. The artist therefore urges his fans to get a copy of his album which willl be made available at the launch show, in all likelihood.

Some of the songs contained in the album are; Tifatse featuring Gwamba, Mwezi Uwale and the controversial Mthunzi track also the trademark for the album.
