SA releases some detained Malawians from Lindera

The South African government has decided to release some Malawian illegal immigrants from Lindera Repatriation Centre.

Reports indicate that all Malawians who have spent more than 120 days at Lindera in Krugerdorp have been sent back to South African communities.

One of the illegal immigrants who spoke on condition of anonymity said that the South Africa Government has released them because there are no funds for deporting them.

“We have been repatriated back to South African community because we have spent more than 120 days in Lindera which is contrary to the constitution of South Africa,” he said.

According to the source, there are thousands of Malawians and people of other nationalities at the centre.

“We were thousands of Malawians there, it’s just lucky to be released back to South African community. Lets pray for our friends who are still there. The environment is not good for human beings there,” he said.

The released Malawians have been told to go back to Malawi within 17 days failing which they will be sent back to Lindera.

The immigrants released are those arrested in the months of June, July, and August soon after xenophobia.

It is not clear what assistance has been given to first travellers to South Africa who were arrested upon entry into the country.

Let me decleare this, there is some plans that you cnt see that they are planning, as we speak watch out for the next year what is gonna happen.
