The Nomads were slaughtered 3-0 at the hands of Mzuni fc at Mzuzu stadium last week whereas Blue Eagles were beaten 1-0 by Epac fc at Civo stadium last Sunday.

Wanderers will be going into the clash without three of their key players Richard Chipuwa, Isaac Kaliati and Stanley Sanudi who are with the Malawi national team in Ethiopia whereas Blue Eagles will be without two of their key players John Banda and Schumacher Kuwali who are also on international duty.

The match will be played at Chitowe ground and it is also promising to be a cracker as Peter Mponda’s side will do anything to continue from where they stopped last week in their quest to survive the chop.

Their opponents Mafco fc will be looking to increase the gap of points with third placed Silver Strikers who have 39 points.

Come Sunday, another relegation threatened side Dedza Young Soccer will host Civo United at Dedza stadium. Civo will go into this match without the services of their hitman Nelson the Silencer Kangunje who is with the Flames in Ethiopia.

On the Same day, Kamuzu Barracks will battle it out with Airborne Rangers who are 13th on the log table. It will be an interesting match as Airborne Rangers will be looking for a win which will move them to 11th on the table as Mzuni fc will be on bye this week.
