Following Onesimus’ emotional outburst at Malawi’s afro-urban artist, Piksy over his Mnthuzi song about two weeks ago, the Unamata hit maker has denied singling out any individual in his song.
Onesimus, formerly known as Armstrong spat venom at the afro-urban artist on the grounds that he was targeting him (Onesimus) and Shepherd Bushiri, a prophet he works with.
His behaviour made him subject to criticism from local music lovers. Piksy, real name is Evans Zangazanga, was expected to hit back at Onesimus with whom he worked together when they were both signed to Ndefeyo Entertainment.
However, Zangazanga has proved to be different following his refusal to talk about the conflict, let alone a few words about his controversial song.
“Have you listened to my song, Mnthuzi? It does not target any individual, it’s simply a message directed to people that fit characters mentioned,” said the star.
The former Atumwi member has been saluted by his fans for the way in which he has handled the drama, leaving Onesimus who has fallen from stardom to eat his own vomit.
They believe the artist has exhibited maturity and that all he cares about are real issues. Blessed with a unique touch of music, the former Airtel Malawi brand ambassador is graduating into a role model to up and coming artists due to his hardworking spirit.
Last Sunday he performed at the Urban Music Party Festival that was organized by his former record label, Ndefeyo Entertainment.
Prior to the event he was in Capetown, South Africa where he also took to the stage.
