Kaphuka: Confirmed of the fracas.

Opposition Malawi Congress Party (MCP) members invaded the party’s headquarters in Blantyre where they exchanged blows with top officials, Malawi24 has learnt.

MCP executive committee member for the Southern region, Samuel Kaphuka, confirmed the development adding that some members have been injured in the process.

“I was there, people came and invaded our office, and everyone was running away for his or her life. But for the meantime allow me not to say much as we are yet to investigate on the matter,” said Kaphuka.

Meanwhile the number of officials believed to have been injured is not yet known.
