Joshua 1:8. “This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth; but you shall meditate therein day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success.”

The word translated meditate is the word HAGAH which also means to mutter or speak. That is why the Bible says the book of the law should not depart from the mouth. In other words we need to speak the Word day and night till we see the results in our life.

Pastor Daniel Walusa:

Psalm also says the same.Psalm 1:2. “But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law does he meditate day and night.”

Every word is established by speaking it.Job 22:28 ” You shall also decree a thing, and it shall be established to you: and the light shall shine on your ways.”

The declarations are not just one off. We continue declaring day and night. Speaking the Word till we see the manifestation.

Deuteronomy 11:19…” speak the Word when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. “We lie down at night and rise up during the day. This shows us that the Word should be spoken day and night.

Jesus in the parable of the sower also hinted on the same. Mark 4:14. “The sower sows the word.” He then continued that the word should be sown day and night and one day will germinate. You will see the manifestation of what you sow and will not know how it has happened. Your job is to sow the seed of the Word day and night.

Mark 4:26-27 ” He also said, “The kingdom of God is like someone who spreads seed on the ground.  He goes to sleep and gets up, night and day, and the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how.”

Develop a habit of speaking the Word to your conditions day and night and you will be a winner. You will see the manifestation of your Word and you will not know how it has happened.
