Malawi league leaders, Big Bullets will not stop getting towards defending the title and today they won 1 nil against Epac at Civo stadium today.

Chiukepo Msowoya scored the only goal of the match on the 29th minute of the first half.

Bullets started the match on a higher note as they were in search for an early goal in the opening minutes of the game in a bid to kill off the game as the Lilongwe side has been giving the champions a tough time in previous meetings.

On the 29th minute of the match Big Bullets scored through a Msowoya’s header.

After that goal Big Bullets kept on pressurizing Epac goal but the home side’s defense was too good to be demolished.

On the 40th minute Epac started building momentum but Bullets defenders were at their best in the office and did not allow Epac to score.

But on the 44th minute Epac could have scored their equalizer through Lucken Mwale but his shot was saved hit the post and the first half ended 1 nil in favor of the Peoples team.

Come the second half both Bullets and Epac fc started afresh highly  as they were both looking for goals in the opening of the match but all failed to find the back of the net.

Dalitso Sailesi, Chiukepo Msowoya and Jaffali Chande all hard their chances to increase Bullets’ lead but they all failed to put the ball into the back of the net and the game ended 1 nil in favour of Big Bullets.After the game Epac fc coach Abasi Makawa conceded defeat whereas Big Bullets team manager Raheem Ishmael said it was a difficult game and said his side will put a gallant fight tomorrow when they play another relegation threatened Dedza Young Soccer .

Big Bullets now need only 12 points to win this seasons super league title and they have now opened a 13 points gap with second placed Mafco which lost 2-1 to Mighty Wanderers in Blantyre.
