According to Detective Sergeant Paul Kapumila of Phalula Police Unit who was on duty, Police received information that a vehicle Nissan Tidia registration number IT 2891 was stolen in Blantyre, and they immediately erected an ad-hock road block.

Arrested“In the course of searching, we came across a vehicle of the same make and colour, and upon searching it, we found that the registration number which was on the vehicle MN 3242 was not the real number of the vehicle as the vehicle documents were depicting that of the vehicle IT 2891 which was stolen in Blantyre”, explained Kapumila.
