Nomads set sights for finishing in top six.

Malawi’s 2015 Carlsberg Cup champions Mighty Wanderers have revealed that they are eyeing a top 6 finish in the top tier league.

The club’s head coach Eliya Kananji has disclosed this ahead of their crucial encounter with Azam Tigers FC tomorrow at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.

“As you know we are on position 9 and our intention is to finish in top six in order to enter into Standard Bank Cup quarter final automatically,” said Kananji.

According to Kananji, he is taking tomorrow’s match as a tough task.

“This game is important considering that we are on position 9 and as you know Tigers came from 2 goals down last round to force a 2 all draw,” said Kananji.

Currently, Mighty Wanderers are not performing well in the top flight as they have 26 points, 15 points behind league leaders Big Bullets FC.
