As the countdown to his long awaited “Ndaona Kuwala” album launch nears completion, Malawi gospel artist Khama Khwiliro says he is prepared to set Blantyre ablaze with his music come 25th October at Robins Park.

“Am all set for “Ndaona Kuwala” album launch. Currently preparations are going on well. Me and my backing team are all set to give out the best so people should be sure of a powerful afternoon packed with anointed music,” said the Blantyre-based singer.

He further urged people to patronise the launch adding that the first fifty people to get to the venue will receive a free CD.

“I would like to urge people to come in their numbers to patronise this launch. Fans should expect an amazing performance since I have matured over the time I started my solo career.

“Fifty CDs are up for grabs to the first fifty people who will get to the venue so it is an event nobody has to miss,” Khwiliro said.

This is Khwiliro’s second album after “Nthawi Yanga Yakwana” which the former leader of the Christ Melodies recorded in 2012. Khwiliro says “Ndaona Kuwala” is a testimony of his life.

“Ndaona Kuwala is a testimony of my life on how God healed me from a gas complication I had in early 2014 and it’s a song of encouragement to those going through sickness and different challenges in life,” said Khwiliro.

The 13 track album has been produced by Obed and Alex Chitheka, Amos Mlolowa, Dick Kankhunda and Gaffer.

With an entry fee of K1000, patrons will witness Khama perform songs such as “Ali Nawo Maso”, “Ndaona Kuwala”, and “Igwe” backed by the youthful Marimba Band.

The line-up of supporting artists comprises gospel music giants such as Princess Chitsulo, Favoured Martha, LImbani Simenti and King James Phiri
