Soldier, Young Kay, Gwamba in Mother’s day special show

Malawi veteran artist Soldier Lucius Banda together urban music stars, Gwamba and Young Kay, will on Friday, October 9, 2015 spice up a special show at Bingu International Conference Centre (BICC) Auditorium to kick start the countrywide commemoration of the Mother’s day.

The special show that is scheduled to start at around 8 o’clock in the evening, is coming courtesy of Rediyo, an upcoming arts, music and entertainment mobile application.

Joining the hip hop performances is Third Eye who will be sharing the stage with Gwamba and Young Kay while in the other hand, an old aged, female, multi-tasked musician who is currently working with one of the local radio stations, Maria Chidzanja Nkhoma, will join Lucius Band who has been named the special guest to perform on the day.

Confirming of his participation at the show, Banda, who is fondly known as Soldier said he was looking forward to making the show an extra special night for musical lovers in honor of all mothers while Third Eye says as for him, all is set for the show.

“With a musical show fused with art in a venue like BICC auditorium, this show will be ground breaking in the history of music in Malawi” said Third Eye,

Tickets for the show will be available at MK10,000 for the standard sit and MK15, 000 for the VIP with VIP ticket holder set to receive a Mother’s day gift hamper at Papaya, City Supermarket, Chameloen and Living Room all these in Lilongwe.
