Legendary musician Lucius Banda launches 20th album

Legendary musician Sir Soldier Lucius Banda last night launched his 20th album titled Love and Hate.

The launch which went well into the wee hours of Sunday attracted a huge audience and Lilongwe Golf Club was fully packed.

South African fastest rising Amapiano star Nkosazana Daughter was the international artist who performed at the launch.

In a one-hour long performance, the Amapiano Vocalist thrilled thousands of fans with some of her hit singles including Dali Nguwe, Thule,  Sofa Silahlane among others.

People enjoyed her performance at the show and they never got tired of her as they kept asking her to perform again some of the songs.

 Other artists that performed at the show include Mlaka Maliro, Janta, Mr Zembani, Wendy Harawa, Walycris, Black Missionaries, Nepman, Lulu and many more.

Speaking after the show, Lucius Banda thanked the people of Lilongwe and others who come from other districts in Malawi for coming to the launch in large numbers and also  giving him full support on in his 20th album.

According to Banda, he will next launch the album in South Africa as well as in Blantyre and Mzuzu in Malawi.

The album fetched huge sums during auction and toping the list was  Wendy Harawa who bought the album at K3 million.
