Sunbird to unveil K600m restaurant facility in Salima

Sunbird Tourism will unveil its new MK600 million beach front restaurant facility at its premier beach resorts Sunbird Waterfront and Sunbird Livingstonia in April this year.

The restaurant facility is positioned to elevate the dining experience for the two resorts, further complimenting the overall resort experience in Salima

Speaking in an interview, Sunbird Chief Executive Yusuf Olela said the restaurant facility will incorporate a 40 seating capacity a la carte restaurant, a 160 seating capacity all day restaurant including outside seating patio, and a modern, trendy bar lounge, right at the beach front.

Olela said the lake facing restaurant is uniquely designed for a relaxed dining experience in luxurious ambience while enjoying the endless magnificent views of the Lake of Stars.

“Our focus is always ensuring an unrivalled guest experience and that our service delivery at all levels is continually improving in our hotels & resorts.

“This investment is a further commitment to making sure that we are continually developing new products aligned to ever dynamic needs of our guests and emerging trends. The new restaurant is positioned as a culinary destination in Salima and will ensure value for money and memorable experiences,” he said.

Olela further said the a la carte restaurant will transform the resort experience for leisure guests and individual travelers, and it is a much awaited for facility, that they intend to further develop at Sunbird Nkopola in the near future to provide enhanced dining options for customers both local and international.
