…signs a three-year deal…

It’s a fairytale case of “like father, like son” for Peter Banda who has signed a three-year deal with Nyasa Big Bullets to follow in the footsteps of his father late Chikondi Banda.

Peter Banda has joined Bullets

The Flames Under 23 forward was heavily linked with a move to Silver Strikers last week but he has decided to join the Super League champions two weeks ahead of the new season.

His father was a well known midfielder who won everything at Bullets. Chikondi Banda died some years ago.

The peoples team confirmed the development and unveiled their new signing just before their game against Be Forward Wanderers at Kamuzu Stadium in the finals of Ecobank Charity Shield.

Banda now keeps the family’s soccer name alive and is emerging as a top prospect in the local professional circuit.

The former Griffin Youngsters striker never got to see his father play but he will be looking forward to emulating his late father who was a marvel to watch during his playing days.
