Forgotten Flames striker Schumacher Kuwali has re-joined Blue Eagles football club after spending years in Mozambican Macombola league.

Kuwali who was playing for Clube Ferroviario de Nampula has re-joined the police side’s striking force which is led by John Malidadi Jnr and Micium Mhone.

Media officer for the club, Steve Kumalonje, has confirmed in an interview with Malawi24 that the forward will be at the club for a season before returning to Mozambique.

“Kuwali has returned to Blue Eagles, we’ll have him this coming season, the agreement between the two clubs is that the player will re-join the Mozambican side next season,” said Kumalonje.

He also revealed that the club has released former Nsundwe attacker, Rudo Magombo, and that the club is planning to release more players in the unwanted list of the Lilongwe’s Area 30 outfit in the coming days.

“We have released Magombo who has been with us for a season. We thank him for his services and two or three more players could be released by the team before the start of the 2019 football season,” the media officer concluded.

Eagles are strengthening their squad ahead of the new season slated to kick off next month. In 2018 season they won Airtel Top 8 Cup.
