Nyasa Big Bullets Football Club are in the hunt for a new Chief Executive Officer following the departure of Fleetwood Haiya who has taken over as CEO of Nyasa Group of Companies.
According to information at hand, Haiya, who assumed the position last year, was NGC’s Finance Director before being promoted to the position of CEO in October 2018.
“I was promoted in October last year as CEO for Nyasa Group of Companies from Finance Director hence making it very difficult for me to man two CEO positions. As a result, I thought it wise to have my position at the club vacant, paving the way for a new CEO hence advertising the post because I can’t man two CEO positions,” he told Malawi24.
Haiya once served as the team’s Finance Director soon after signing a partnership deal with the club before ascending to the top position earlier last year when the take over process was completed.
During his tenure, he won the 2018 TNM Super League with the main team before winning the Chitetezo Mbaula Southern Region Football League with the reserve team.
According to the vacancy which Malawi24 has seen, the applicants must have a minimum of five years experience in working in a profit making organization and should have knowledge and experience of sports business and club administration.
