…as Silver tie four players to long term contracts

Nyasa Big Bullets have made their second signing in the local transfer window by bringing on board Dwangwa United midfielder Ben Manyozo.

The former Chitawira Rangers midfielder has signed a four year deal with the 2018 TNM Super League championship following a successful season with financially troubled Dwangwa United.

The development was confirmed by the club through their official Facebook page.

“Ben Manyozo becomes Nyasa Big Bullets’ second signing after the Malawi under 23 and the former Dwangwa United midfielder has penned a four year contract with the people’s team. He joins Bullets as a free agent,” reads the statement.

On Friday last week, Bullets signed Flames and former Namiwawa Madrid defender Precious Sambani for an undisclosed fee.

In a related development, Silver Strikers have extended the contracts of their four key players.

Ghanaian’ duo of Michael Tete and Yunus Sheriff as well Ronald Pangani and Kondwani Mwaila have all committed their futures to the Bankers after extending their deals which were expected to expire before the start of the new season.

The Bankers are now fighting very hard to retain the services of defender Herbert Wayekha whose contract will expire very soon.

A fortnight ago, the Area 47 based side also extended the contracts of midfielder Levison Maganizo and left back Mark Fodya.
