When the stage marries music and poetry, the outcome is always a bomb and that is expected of the “rise of spoken word poetry” happening in Blantyre early next month.

The art feast will be staged at KwaHaraba art gallery in Phekani House on 11th December.

A number of artists will light up the stage marking a colourful genesis to the festive season mainly characterised by fiestas.

Seunda will also perfom.

As a way of accommodating the masses, the event will be happening during the day, from 1PM to 5PM. Tickets are now selling at KwaHaraba Art Gallery, at K3000.

On the list of performers is urban music superstar, Eddie, whose music has of late proved to be a cure for boredom thanks to his golden voice. He is among two singers who will find themselves in the middle of poets, with the other one being Malala.

The list of artists to conquer the stage on 1th December includes Gemini, Mwai, Hewpoet, Panacea, Tendai, Rabie, Brian, Yangie, Eddie, and Malala.
