‘You are stupid, mache**e ako!’ Mulli goes mad at journalist

Business magnet Leston Mulli lost his cool at a journalist when he was asked why he was absent at this year’s Mulhakho wa Alhomwe.

In a clip that has gone viral which Malawi24 has listened to, the businessman whose business trends took a wrong turn after the demise of Bingu wa Mutharika can be heard firing expletives in a heated response to the question that journalist Adam Phiri puts to him.

The clip starts with Adam Phiri introducing himself to Mulli who sounds grumpy. When the journalist discloses that he wants to know why Mulli was absent at this year’s Mulhakho wa Alhomwe festivities, Mulli inquires of him why he is interested in issues to do with him (Mulli).

“You, why are you interested in my issues?” a grumpy sounding Mulli asks.

“It’s people that want to know, they are wondering why…”

But Mulli is not for peace in the clip and he does not let him finish, instead he launches into a verbal firing at the journalist telling him that he has no right to know what Mulli is always up to.

“I cannot be telling you what I am doing or where I am sleeping,” Mulli fires while Phiri just listens and says yes to the business magnet.

“You are too stupid! Mache*$e akonso wamva” Mulli throws the expletive at Phiri in the audio.
