The Football Association of Malawi (FAM) has announced that the 2015 Standard Bank Knockout Cup final between Civo Service United and Mighty Wanderers will take place at Civo Stadium on 1 November.
According to information made available to Malawi24, the organizing committee has decided to take the finals back to the Capital City, months after hosting another cup final involving Blantyre sworn rivals Big Bullets and Mighty Wanderers.
This means that Kamuzu Stadium will not get involved in any cup final in the on-going season despite being the best stadium the country has so far.
The last time the Stadium hosted Standard Bank Cup final was in 2008 between Bullets and Moyale Barracks. Civo will play host to Wanderers in the match.
This will be the third time for the two teams to reach the finals of the cup, with the Nomads winning twice whilst Civo are win less in all the attempts.
